Gtechniq were offering high quality, disruptive products to the marketplace through Amazon Vendor. With a rapidly growing account and wanting to scale their sales more, they approached KhooCommerce to see how we could support them with their growth plans.
Under their old system in May 2020, each order was taking a large amount of time to process, allocate, produce and then ship. This was meaning that as their account grew more and more there was the need to hire more staff to keep up with the demand. Gtechniq sought a way that they could keep growing sales without needing to spend more time in administration, as well as streamline their dispatch process.
Before using KhooCommerce, how long were you spending managing your Amazon POs?
Accepting orders was about 4 minutes per order to accept, and 6 minutes per shipment. We had to accept each order manually, and each shipment required logging into Amazon, Our ERP and into DPD to create the shipments.
This process was one-by-one and was very time-consuming. As the order volume was growing we recognised the need to implement a scalable solution that would help us as moved forward.
Before KhooCommerce, what did the invoicing process look like?
The invoice process was very manual and time consuming, duplicating the invoice on 3 different systems. It is now automated and a streamlined process that takes minutes to complete a week’s worth of invoices instead of several hours.

We worked with Gtechniq to discuss their systems, processes and how we can work with them. We identified an API integration to Unleashed ERP, as well as how to setup their inventory and products into the KhooCommerce system. We then began a series of testing and trainings that ensured the EDI connection to Amazon Vendor, as well as the API connection to Unleashed were working correctly.
What impact has KhooCommerce had on your role?
KhooCommerce has made a positive impact on my role and this is due how user friendly the software is. This makes training staff on how to process Amazon orders and invoices a lot easier.
Since using KhooCommerce, what have been the biggest changes?
There are a couple of big changes that have made a positive impact. Firstly, the time processing an order is at least half the time it used to be, and secondly the ability to process the orders and invoices in batches saves lots of time. The shipment process is tied into both Amazon and DPD which is a big help.
How much time have you saved since using KhooCommerce?
Every week the invoicing process used to be a real pain, maybe 4 or 5 hours a week - now it's about 10 minutes! Similarly the order processing has gone from about 3 hours a week to 1.
